Licensed Associate Counsel

A company is looking for a Remote Associate Counsel to serve as the internal legal point of contact on emerging technologies and support various legal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on emerging technologies and artificial intelligence risks

Guide the marketing department on compliance with communication and privacy laws

Assist with consumer complaints and support compliance management functions

Required Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and good standing with at least one state bar

Minimum three years of in-house experience in the mortgage industry or private practice

Practical knowledge of GLBA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, DNC, and related regulations

Experience in reviewing mortgage documentation and understanding the mortgage life cycle

Ability to draft legal documents quickly and implement policies based on new laws
