KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Tech Product Management to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall delivery of technology products for KPMG Emerging Technology products and releases utilizing agile and other product management methodologies; set the tactical plan for the execution of the programs' strategic objectives; ensure development of actionable strategies align with firm priorities
• Deliver effective conflict resolution between individuals and teams with an assertive but friendly attitude; provide effective methods and practices for managing and resolving impediments
• Act as an expert in estimation and planning techniques; explain and teach release planning in an empirical environment; clarify the differences between various Scrum Scaling frameworks and approaches
• Advocate for modern agile software development and organizational practices, such as XP, CI / CD, DevOps, TDD, and more; automate flow of Project Status and facilitate continuous and real-time transparency for effective communication, support and decision making
• Assist with coaching and training both individuals, teams, and programs to clarify goals, break anti-patterns and put plans in place to achieve stronger results; utilize different agile techniques to improve the efficiency of the development team
• Coach product owners on managing a scaled product backlog of epics and features, and facilitate decision making with product owners and architects; mentor and support a product owner in effective techniques for backlog creation, management, and refinement; demonstrate effective techniques for managing team interruptions, and for protecting the team in a sprint; work beyond team boundaries to improve efficiencies, flow of work, and value delivered
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
