Job Description
Our company provides full-service management to trade and professional associations as well as specialized services including non-profit financial management and event coordination. We are seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to support our Finance team with a multitude of accounting activities including preparation of financial statements, month-end / year-end close and account analysis.
Primary Responsibilities :
Works with CFO to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. Helps manage and prepare month-end financial reporting and preparation for the annual financial review / audit and budgeting process.
Requirements :
Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree with major courses in accounting, business administration, or closely related field preferred. 5 to 10 years of general ledger accounting experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities -
Preferred Skills - Strong understanding of insurance policies and requirements of a non-profit association is a plus. Experience with grant accounting or government contracts, a plus.
Job Location -The location of this position would be a combination of in-office (at least 1-2 days / week, to start) and remote.
