American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with at least 2 years of experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications for this surgical nursing position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital Operating Room environment
  • Cases include Ortho (including joints), Neuro, Vascular, General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Bariatrics, Laparoscopic procedures, ENT, and Robotics
  • No open heart or transplant cases performed
  • Ten ORs run daily beginning at 7 : 30 AM
  • Day shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call shifts required
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Nurses support a wide range of surgical specialties with diverse cases
  • Modules are completed during orientation and annually as assigned
  • Block scheduling is available Monday through Friday
  • Only one RTO request permitted for the duration of the contract
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate

  • Active MD or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
  • Certifications required : BLS and ACLS
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Pending license considered
