Job Overview :

We are seeking reliable delivery drivers or "runners" to join our team. The delivery driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to customers' locations.

Duties :

Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle

Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer deliveries

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Utilize a hand truck (dolly) to handle heavy loads

Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding delivery schedules (including phone calls and in-person)

Utilize box trucks or vans for transportation

Perform heavy lifting as required in the delivery process in a safe and healthy way.

Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws

Runners assist the driver in these functions and must also communicate well with the larger team, FedEx staff and customers.

Qualifications :

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. No experience is required, but preferred.

Excellent communication skills and planning on a personal and interpersonal level

Be organized and able to follow map directions

Pay : From $160.00 per day for a driver and $125 per day for a runner
