Position Overview

Do you have field experience and looking for an opportunity to be in office? The BIM / VDC Coordinator needs to have field experience and we are willing train professionals in BIM / VDC modeling. You will be responsible for developing detailed electrical systems designs and 3D models while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.

Location

This position could sit in any of our offices in Waltham, MA, Irvine, CA, Lone Tree, CO, Westlake, TX, Grapevine, TX or Lenexa, KS.

Responsibilities

• Model and coordinate electrical, low voltage, and control systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for the successful design, coordination, and delivery of projects.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Update model content based on redlines and as-builts
• Review of design drawings and submittals
• Develop plans and specifications with resolutions for solving unique issues
• Responding to contractor RFIs
• Reviewing shop drawings and construction submittals
• Performing construction site field observations reports
• Preparing punch lists during various stages of construction
• Maintain project tracking numbers and metrics
• Identify prefab opportunities
• Preform QA / QC for all deliverables

Qualifications

Other Requirements :

Base Compensation : $133,000 / yr - $139,000 / yr

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and / or location)
