Heavy Maintenance Manager

Satair is looking for a Heavy Maintenance Manager to join our Customer Order Fulfillment team based in Peachtree City, GA.

As a Heavy Maintenance Manager, you will work as a project manager supporting Maintenance Centers and Airlines A220 c-check activity. You will be responsible for the complete customer order handling process for c-check part requirements and coordinate a multi-functional team to collaborate and work towards expediting and delivering all parts on time. You will also lead customer meetings while presenting to customers the c-check orders status, addressing concerns and aligning on priorities.

Just outside of Atlanta is one of ten of Satair's global locations. Established in 1986, this site hosts Commercial, Human Resource, Customer Order Fulfillment (COF), Finance, Product Management, Supply Management Vendor Parts, and Planning team functions.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, lead and steer internal MFT and customer meetings
  • Maintain C-check file and ensure all relevant information is available
  • Responsible for C-Check file related external and internal stakeholder communication (Customer Order View, Reporting File)
  • Ensure all functions have performed their required checklists, incl. their own
  • Measures, analyses and utilizes key performance indicators (KPIs) on behalf of the group in order to manage material order activity.
  • Ownership for C-Check project and its order lines
  • Perform Heavy Maintenance Manager C-Check Checklist
  • Open technical support cases with Airbus Canada (e.g. PN Activation, interchangeability, etc.)
  • Clarifies technical queries utilizing technical documentation and / or liaises with technical and engineering departments.
  • Provides consistently high quality responses to all customer related requests for all materials and related services to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.

Your Boarding Pass :

  • 3+ years experience working in the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and / or airline operations highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics functions within a similar sized organization, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

    • Travel Required :

  • 10% Domestic and 5% Internationally

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Vision : Daily able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
  • Hearing : Daily able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds including safety warnings or alarms.
  • Speaking : Daily able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
  • Equipment Operation : Daily use of personal computer, telephone, copier, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors.
  • Carrying : Daily able to carry documents, electronic equipment up to 30lbs
  • Lifting : Daily able to lift documents, electronic equipment up to 30lbs.
  • Pushing / Pulling : Daily able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
  • Sitting : Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer
  • Squatting / Kneeling : Occasionally able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
  • Standing : Daily able to stand for discussions in offices
  • Walking : Daily able to walk through office areas including uneven surfaces.
