POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary : At Box Butte General Hospital, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. In this role, you will strive for excellence in patient care while adhering to the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act and our hospital policies. You will be accountable for the quality of nursing services, both for yourself and those under your supervision. Your contributions will play a vital role in our performance improvement initiatives and collaborative care environment.

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the interdisciplinary team, ensuring that patient-centered care is at the forefront of all activities. You’ll be instrumental in coordinating care for diverse patient populations, enhancing outcomes through collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Essential Functions :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within your scope of practice.
• Provide tailored education to patients and their families based on individual needs.
• Accurately transcribe and implement protocols and physician orders.
• Lead and coordinate the healthcare team, effectively delegating tasks to ancillary personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the unit’s mission and goals.
