Job Title : RN Step Down Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Step Down Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 45 PM - 07 : 15 AM Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Active Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have : - Minimum of 3 years of experience - Experience with HFNC and BIPAP - Stable GTT management - Post-operative care for CABG, AVR, and MVR - Experience in cardiovascular and vascular care - Knowledge of AAA repair, lobectomy, and CEA - Proficient in NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, and pacemaker management - Experience with sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding, post-DKA, respiratory failure, and tracheostomy care Description : This position is in a 30-bed step-down unit. The unit provides care for patients transitioning from intensive care. Candidates must have robust cardiovascular and vascular experience. Familiarity with high-acuity cases is essential. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Strong clinical skills and critical thinking are necessary for success. Ideal candidates should demonstrate effective communication abilities. The ability to manage diverse patient needs is critical.
