The Dispatcher, Courier role is responsible for coordinating daily courier operations to ensure the timely, compliant, and efficient transport of specimens, medical supplies, and materials across hospitals, outpatient clinics, and research facilities.
Scheduling and dispatching couriers, monitoring routes in real time, and adjusting for delays to protect patient-care timelines. The position ensures strict adherence to chain-of-custody and regulatory requirements, particularly for temperature-sensitive specimens.
By resolving operational issues, supporting training, and contributing to performance tracking and route optimization, this role plays a critical part in maintaining service quality, supporting patient care, and advancing departmental and organizational objectives.
