Job description

Seeking a Gastroenterology physician for a long-term locum coverage near Arcata, CA. Job Details :

  • Practice Setting : Inpatient, Outpatient
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Coverage Date : ASAP - Ongoing
  • Shift Schedule : Hospital and Clinic

Mon & Tue - Hospital, 8 am to 3 pm

  • Wed, Thu, & Fri - Clinic, 8 : 30 am to 5 pm
  • Call Schedule : 10 days per month
  • EMR System : Allscripts going Epic (Office / Clinic), Meditech going Epic (Hospital)
  • Other detail :

    • The physician will work with 1 MD and 1 midlevel

  • 90% Adult and 10% Pediatrics
  • 15 Patients each day per physician
  • Ancillary staff : 3 MA's and 3 PARs
  • With ERCP and PEG are preferred
  • Must have CA license and active CA fluro at time of presentation
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS / APLS required
