Nocturnist shift- 7pm-7am

25,000 visits / year

Full-service hospital with a 24 / 7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT / MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room

42 hours of physician coverage / day

Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary / Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS : Graduate of a medical / osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
