Blue Sky Hospitality is a leading hospitality management company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences across our portfolio of hotels. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts at our Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut.

Job Summary

As the Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will work closely with hotel General Managers, corporate leadership, and external partners to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive business.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with hotel General Managers to ensure alignment between sales and operational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Stay informed about competitors' activities and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in the Connecticut market.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Connecticut and occasionally beyond for business purposes.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
