Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Bangor, WI, is seeking an experienced Sign Language Interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position is based onsite at an elementary school and offers the opportunity to support students with diverse munication needs, particularly those with Down Syndrome.
Key Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably working in educational settings
- Familiarity with the munication needs of students with Down Syndrome
- Strong understanding of American Sign Language (ASL) and ability to facilitate clear, effective munication
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and families
