Technical Writer

Actalent Services is seeking a Technician Writer for a long term consultant position with our client in Albany. This is a 2+ year contract consultant position, with access to health benefits, pto, and more. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week opportunity that is 100% on-site in Albany,

Job Description :

As a technical writer, you will use internal resources and existing documentation to create accurate, user-friendly procedures and training guides that can be understood by a variety of audiences. You will need strong writing, editing, and proofing skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work as part of a team under the direction of the department manager and experienced team members.

Job Duties :

• Produce high quality documentation by gathering and analyzing information from a variety of sources
• Collaborate with other writers to improve document standards
• Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve content and usability
• Edit documentation to ensure consistent, accurate information
• Adjust responsibilities, time, and objectives to meet changing priorities
