IT Service Desk Manager

Job Summary :
Evergreen Healthcare Group in Vancouver, Washington is looking for a qualified IT Service Desk Manager to oversee the Service Desk Team and ensure that tickets are handled in a timely, efficient, and thorough manner.
Essential Functions :
Team Management
Oversee performance of team members, coach employees, and perform annual reviews
Balance workloads between team members
Coordinate with other managers, in IT and other departments
Report on tickets, workloads, and performance
Work with IT Director to prioritize tasks and meet organizational strategic initiatives
Mentor staff to foster professional development
Coordinate resource availability
Hire and train new staff
Policies
Develop processes and procedures for the service desk
Ensure position-based access is accurate and up to date
Identify weaknesses and suggest and / or implement changes
Other
Maintain hardware inventory
Identify and react to ticket trends
Manage software licenses and assignments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Ability to manage multiple varied workloads (personal and team) in a high-stress environment
Ability to foster relationships with and mentor your team
Ability to identify trends and weaknesses
