Locums - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry San Francisco, CAStart Date : October 20, 2025Facility Type : Acute Care HospitalCoverage Needed : 1-2 weekends per month Shift Details : Rounding Start Time : 8 : 00 AM Rounding Duration : 6 hours Call : 24-hour telephone call coverage (Saturday & Sunday) On-Call Duration : After rounding, provider remains on call until 8 : 00 AM the next day Patients / Day : 6-12 EMR : Cerner Requirements : Board Certification : BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred) OR BC in General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship Licensure : Must be licensed in California Experience : Psychopharmacology and therapy for children / adolescents Adolescent development and family systems Managing psychiatric medications and treatment planning Handling challenging adolescent behaviors with therapeutic and de-escalation techniques Leading multidisciplinary teams Collaborating with families and guardians Cultural competence and adaptability Understanding legal, educational, and safeguarding frameworks for adolescent patients Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
