Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join their medical team. The ideal candidate will function as an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible to the medical director and the chief nursing officer (CNO), and adhere to state regulations and hospital standards to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Schedule includes both 8-Hour Day Shift and Night Shift (16-Hours).
• Responsible to the medical director and the chief nursing officer (CNO) and functions as an integral part of the medical team.
• Practices under the Board of Registered Nursing California code of regulations, utilizing the Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures.
• Provides individualized care in line with CSHS philosophies and hospital policies.
• Performs job duties with sensitivity to age and developmental milestones across various populations.
• Ensures safety and provides appropriate assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Education

• Master of Nursing Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered
• Current State of California Registered Nurse and Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) License (eligible to obtain)
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current DEA license and Furnishing Number
• Current BLS and PALS certification

Experience

• One (1) plus years' experience as Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP), preferably in NICU.
• Three (3) plus years of nursing experience.

Schedule / Shift

1 8-hour shift: 8am-4pm
2 16-hour shifts: 4pm-8am
