Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Minimum of 7 years in systems build / implementation per engineering drawings, schematics or wire diagrams
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to perform point-to-point wiring
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
Assembly of automated test systems, test fixtures, cables, harnesses, and PCB assembliesLogical layout and design of electrical shelfs / panelsProvide technical assistance and collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems before, during and after assemblyModify prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct defectsTest completed assemblies to ensure proper operationObtain and / or maintain the following IPC certifications : J-STD-001 specialist, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialistFollow and maintain company documentation standardsMaintain and improve company quality processesMaintain inventory and maintenance of company toolsAssure a clean and safe work environmentPromote company goals and encourage continuous improvement through participation, teamwork and qualityOccasionally assist with shipping and receiving, maintenance of job materials, and facility maintenanceMeasurement of success
