Range 20 on the Classified Salary Schedule. Step 1 starts at $18.55 Per Hour

Range 20 Step 1 begins at $18.55 per hour however, with Superintendent or designee approval and written verification of work experience beyond the job description requirements, beginning salary placement could be as high as Step 3, $20.45 per hour.

Education and Experience Requirement

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Supplemental formal instruction in arts education program, theory, voice piano, or other arts education program.

Preferred experience

Some training or experience in arts education is preferred.

Additional Requirement

Pass a District proficiency test in English usage, language arts and mathematics, or pass California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), or have completed two years (60 semester units) of college.

Certificate Requirement

Valid First Aid and CPR certificates as authorized by an American Heart Association or American Red Cross provider. Will be required by date of hire.
