• $27.84-$45.46 / hr. based on previous work experience.\n
• Evening differential $2.50 / hr.\n
• Night differential $3.00 / hr.\n

We specialize in providing superior care to all patients. The healers in PACU are engaged in the patients well being not only while in recovery, but throughout their stay in the Health System. The patients are well taken care of while in PACU, but so are our co-workers. The healers of PACU considered themselves a family, and never leave each other in a bind. We practice under the ASPAN principles. Surgical services offered at the HealthPlex campus include : Women's and Children's, Orthopedics, Urology, Ear,Nose and Throat, Cardiac and General Surgery.\nResponsibilities : \n\nRN essential functions include, but are not limited to : \n
• Assessment / reassessment - Systematically assesses / reassesses the health care needs of individuals; appropriate for specific age groups and patient conditions. Involves patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate\n
• Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate.\n
• Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations and policy\n
• Evaluation - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions.\n
• Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing resources as needed.\n
• Professional Practice\nQualifications : \n\nEducation\n
• Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.\n\nExperience\n
• Previous experience in healthcare field preferred.\n\nLicensure / Certification\n
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.\n
• New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
