Performs a full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to provide optimum information for the diagnosis and / or treatment of patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND / OR LICENSURE

Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.

Must possess current or temporary Nuclear Medicine license as required by state board where services will be provided

• MD : Nuclear Medicine Technologist through Maryland Board of Physicians
• OH : Nuclear Medicine Technologist through Ohio Department of Health
• PA : No state license required
• VA : Radiological Technologist license through the Virginia Board of Medicine
• WV and OR : Nuclear Medicine License / Nuclear Medicine Apprentice License through respective boards

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or NMTCB as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within six months of hire.

Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
