As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an exceptional presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and assisting visitors or staff with professionalism and outstanding customer service. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your daily duties. Pay Rate : $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sun 04 : 30 AM - 12 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the government location.
  • Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter prohibited items and / or unauthorized access, following established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and / or identification as required by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and / or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required documentation and / or logs related to screening activities and incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
