Responsibilities

• 24-hour call shifts from 730 am - 730 am, 3-5 shifts per month
• 4-6 admissions per shift with 5-8 patient encounters
• Labor and delivery coverage with 700 deliveries annually
• Primary call coverage for OB / GYN service
• Covers triage, ER consults, inpatient consults, and deliveries
• Handles urgent / emergent surgical procedures and C-sections
• Includes rounding and discharge responsibilities
• 5-7 phone consults per shift average
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
