Reports upon first notice any environmental situation which could pose a threat to the safety or well-being of the Masonic Village Residents. Completes meal service duties in a courteous and timely manner as assigned by supervisor in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Sets dining room to include table layout, place setting, and centerpiece while demonstrating knowledge of table assignments, table numbers, and locations. Uses chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment safely and effectively to accomplish assigned tasks in accordance with food safety regulations established by federal, state, local and private accreditation organizations. Uses best practices related to the safe and sanitary handling, preparation, storage, and service of foods, including proper hand washing, wearing gloves, changing gloves frequently, maintaining a clean uniform, sanitizing work surfaces and tools between uses, proper dating, labeling, and rotation of food products. Willingness receive on-the-job training. Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must be at least 16 years of age
