Job descriptionLead and execute AWS migration projects in an enterprise environment. Work independently on large-scale migration tasks (ETB, CDDR initiatives, etc.). Understand and manage end-to-end migration processes, including planning, design, build, test, and cutover. Work with cross-functional teams to implement mass organizational changes as part of large cloud programs. Provide senior-level technical guidance and ensure alignment with cloud architecture standards. Drive Gen3 migrations (preferred), or similar modernization efforts.
Job Overview :
We are seeking a very senior, highly tenured AWS Engineer with deep experience in enterprise-level cloud migration programs. This role supports a Director within Clients Financial Services organization. Ideal candidates will have worked directly on AWS migration initiatives at Client location , including Gen3 or enterprise-wide modernization programs (CDDR, ETB, etc.).
Required Skill :
- 15+ years of deep experience in AWS Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Infrastructure Modernization.
- Gen3 migration experience
- Strong background in :
- AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, ECS / EKS, etc.)
- Migration tooling & frameworks (CloudEndure, Application Discovery, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
- Landing Zone, security standards, network architecture
- Hands-on experience working on programs with large-scale enterprise impact (CDDR, ETB, or similar).
- Ability to manage migration tasks end-to-end with minimal oversight.
