Must-Have : Must be comfortable with a high patient ratio (1 : 44).

Must have LTC experience.

Description :

Position entails working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility.

One holiday and two on-call or additional shifts required every six weeks, or two holidays without on-call or additional shifts.

The ratio of patients is 1 nurse to 44 patients.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend coverage as needed.

Experience with a charting system is required.

Recent experience in community hospital settings is preferred.

Capable of providing care for geriatric patients.

Daily census of the unit is approximately 95 patients.

The facility houses 113 beds.

Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Social Services, and Pharmacy.

Special procedures focus on residents with dementia, primarily long-term care.

Travelers must adhere to attendance policies.

Failure to meet contract requirements without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation.
