Job descriptionAssociate's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, including cash posting and application Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create and maintain reports and spreadsheets Comfortable working independently with limited direction, while also contributing as a supportive team member Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work Highly organized, with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt as business needs change Flexible and collaborative, willing to learn and assist with tasks across the accounting team when needed Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative and manage projects effectively from start to finish Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear and spend the vast majority of their time working at a computer terminal. Normal office environment with some exposure to the factory.

We are looking for a Accounting Generalist with a desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment. This part-time position will be responsible for general accounting duties, Accounts Receivable, and needs as defined by established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in monthly closing activities
- Prepare and file multiple states sales and use tax.
- Calculate and pay sales rep commissions.
- Perform cash management, daily bank deposits, posting cash receipts, and customer payments
- Process and record remote deposits from A / R department
- Post cash in ERP system and balance each batch to the bank details.
- Process invoicing includes running system jobs, review and mail / distribute invoices, and reconcile any issues.
- Process credit card transactions and post in accounts receivable system.
