Job description

Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? A healthcare facility near Youngstown, OH, is seeking skilled physicians to provide exceptional patient care. This is your chance to work in a dynamic environment while enjoying a flexible schedule.

Job Highlights

  • Location : Near Youngstown, Ohio.
  • Start Date : February 10, 2025.
  • Duration : 13 weeks with potential for extension.
  • Shifts :

Day : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM.

  • Night : 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM.
  • Additional shifts may vary depending on site needs.
  • Volume : Emergency Departments range from 15,000 to 48,000 annual visits.
  • Certification :

    • Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).

  • Alternatively, board-certified Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Pediatric Medicine (PM) physicians with 7,000+ hours of ED experience.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency required.

    • Facility Features

  • Trauma Levels : Varies from Level 2 to Level 4, based on the location.
  • Support Services : Includes general surgery, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and OB / GYN, among others.
  • EMR System : Cerner. EMR training will be provided.
  • Staffing : Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) collaborate to deliver high-quality care. APP supervision required.

  • Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
  • Vaccination requirements include TB / PPD, flu, Hep B, MMR, varicella, Tdap, and COVID-19.
  • Critical care privileges are available for qualified candidates.
