Job description

Insurance Licensing Coordinator Remote

Support onboarding and compliance in the insurance industry with a remote role focused on U.S. licensing operations. This contract opportunity offers cross-functional collaboration, exposure to strategic initiatives, and a fast-paced environment. Ideal for professionals with experience in audit, licensing, or compliance.

What is in it for you :

  • Hourly salary of $21.88.
  • 12-month contract (maternity leave coverage).
  • Full-time position : 37.5 hours per week.
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
  • Location : Fully remote.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve licensing issues for new agents, agencies, and broker-dealers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Analyze licensing data to generate actionable insights and identify trends.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure all licensing activities are compliant with applicable U.S. state and federal regulations.
  • Liaise with carriers and regulatory bodies to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support digitization and automation of licensing and onboarding workflows.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed about regulatory and industry changes.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Industry certifications such as LOMA or ALMI preferred.
  • Experience in audit, compliance, or market conduct examinations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. state insurance department requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical aptitude, including experience with licensing platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Current knowledge of industry-specific regulations is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
