Pay Information

$110 to $117 per hour

About The Position

Highlights

  • Quick start with emergency privileges available
  • Work in a baby-friendly hospital with a 6-bed NICU
  • No supervision requirements, allowing autonomy in practice

Practice Setting

  • Level II NICU with no neonatologist on staff
  • 18 postpartum rooms and a 5-bed pediatric unit
  • No PICU; well-baby rounding with community pediatricians
  • Support from a transfer team and APP M-F

    • Schedule

  • 24-hour shifts available : Choose from day or night options

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Intubation and management of UAC / UVC lines
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections
  • Average 5-8 calls per night; phone orders possible

    • Requirements

  • Board-certified Pediatrician
  • Comfortable with intubation and attending deliveries
  • PALS and NRP-CCS certifications required
  • Experience with high-risk neonatal care
