About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Acute Care / Med-Surg

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Med-Surg Adult, Telemetry Med-Surg, Observation

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shift including weekend rotation

Hours per Shift : 36 guaranteed

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care / Med-Surg / Telemetry or similar RN experience

License : Current RN License to work in Colorado

Certifications : Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association, Current ACLS (AHA), Proof of Flu Vaccine - No exemptions accepted

Must-Have : Must agree to participate in call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs

Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care / Med-Surg Adult is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients.

The nurse will use specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing the nursing process.

Census is growing due to an increase in surgeries and acute / chronic illnesses.
