Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support both equipment and facility maintenance at a manufacturing site in Brookfield, WI. This position offers a balanced mix of mechanical equipment repair and general building maintenance, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and rebuild machinery and mechanical equipment (gearboxes, belts, motors, drives).
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Perform facility maintenance including light plumbing, conduit, carpentry, and general building repair.
Support installation and relocation of machines and equipment as needed.
Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on machines, HVAC, and building systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and work orders.
Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs (e.g., CNC service, lawn / snow services).
Follow company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
Requirements
3+ years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
Mechanical repair skills including gearboxes, belts, motors, and drives.
General facility maintenance abilities (plumbing, conduit, carpentry, light electrical).
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
Ability to read and follow manuals, instructions, and work orders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.
Welding, HVAC, or electrical troubleshooting skills.
Prior involvement in setting up or maintaining a PM program.
