Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO)
Position Overview
The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed on construction sites, promoting a safe work environment, and complying with EM 385-1-1 regulations. The SSHO will develop and implement safety plans, conduct safety inspections, and provide training to personnel to minimize risks and enhance safety culture. Projects will be at all 5 military bases on the island, and some projects will require the ability to obtain a clearance.
