Position : Contract Clinical Research Associate (CRA) / Clinical Monitor

Location : Remote – Preferred : West Coast, Midwest, or Central US (up to 50% travel)

Employment Type : 1099 Contract - Established LLC is needed

Overview

Currently seeking an experienced Contract Clinical Research Associate to provide sponsor oversight for Investigator-Sponsored Trials and oncology studies. These roles involve on-site monitoring, collaboration with CRO teams, and ensuring adherence to study protocols, GCP, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent sponsor oversight visits at clinical sites, serving as a representative.
  • Partner with CRO CRAs and site staff to ensure compliance with protocols and regulations.
  • Review data, resolve queries, and support database lock activities to maintain data integrity.
  • Prepare accurate, timely trip reports following site visits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Biostatistics, and Data Management teams.
  • Oversee multiple clinical sites to ensure high-quality study execution.

Experience

  • 3+ years of clinical monitoring and project management in oncology.
  • Prior sponsor oversight experience within pharma, diagnostics, or medical device organizations.
  • CRO experience strongly preferred.

    • Proficient in data review, query resolution, and database lock activities.

  • In-depth knowledge of GCP and regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic / international).
  • Must be available to work overlapping hours with Pacific Time (especially for non-West Coast candidates).
