Data Center Logistics Associate L3
A unique position in which Logistics Specialist 3 is responsible for the execution of material logistics in a data center environment. This includes the shipping / receiving, storage, distribution, and cycle counting of data center material.
How You Will Make a Difference :
- Demonstrate leadership or point of contact during shift assignments
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Oversee and supervise 3-4 hourly logistics personnel for assigned operations
- Direct and review work plan for assigned staff within assigned area
- Conduct a review of team members' support of DC operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, and shipping materials
- Maintain strict inventory control, ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts receiving
- Maintain accurate records and metrics, audit as necessary
- Assist in monthly and / or annual physical inventories; provide inventory reports
- Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Keep a strong working knowledge of all operating systems in the work area
- Participate in order planning for the facilities team
- Manage tasks and vendor inventory orders
- Participate in inventory audits receipt
- Management support OFCI (Construction' Bulk Inventory)
- Coordinate with 3-way match receiving and assist with bulk and asset receiving when necessary
What You Will Need to Succeed :
HS Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or related field6+ months in a supervisory or leadership roleProficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)Excellent customer service and relationship management skillsKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and client service managementExcellent written and oral communication skillsVersatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmWork independently and as a member of various teams and committeesGood judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsUnderstand all safety requirements and cautionsAble to safely lift and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds and can stand the duration of the shiftPhysical Demands :
May require up to 25% travelMay require extended periods on your feetMay require miles of walking per day throughout the Warehouse and / or Data CenterCompensation
Estimated Pay Range : $27.20 - $29.00 USD. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
