Mandarin-Speaking Social Worker

Location : Costa Mesa, CA

Job Type : Full-Time

Position Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker who is fluent in Mandarin to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate support to our Mandarin-speaking clients. This role involves case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, and connecting individuals and families with essential community resources.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct social work services to Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress
  • Offer crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with agency policies

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) or related field
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working with immigrant / refugee or multicultural communities is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of local community resources
  • Trauma-informed care or experience in mental health services
  • Culturally responsive and sensitive approach to service delivery
