Job descriptionDevelop and operationalize a city-wide Data Governance framework (committee, taxonomy, policies, RACI models). Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, CJIS, and other regulations. Establish data classification, cataloging, quality controls, and lifecycle management. Deliver training programs and build internal capacity. Support audits, reporting, and compliance risk assessments. Proven track record in designing and implementing a full Data Governance framework (not just maintaining one). 7+ years in data governance, compliance, or information management. Strong knowledge of regulatory and privacy laws. Experience in government or large organizations is preferred. Certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CDMP) a plus.
Work Setup :
- Onsite in Atlanta, GA (30303)
- Monday Thursday (8 : 30 AM 5 PM), Friday remote (may change over time)
