Overview

(General Hire) Machine Learning Engineer Graduate (Commerce & Content Service & Search Ads) - 2026 Start (BS / MS) at TikTok. This role is a General Hire Machine Learning Engineer Graduate position designed for BS / MS graduates to join the Commerce & Content Service & Search Ads monetization teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.

Develop state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects.

Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.

Work with product and business teams on product vision.

Qualifications

BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.

Experience in and strong theoretical grounding in machine learning concepts and techniques.

Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in Go, C / C++, Python (one or more).

Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, etc.

Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in ads systems, recommendation, searching, ranking, or related areas.

Hiring Details

Onboarding date : Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of 2026. Please state your availability and graduation date clearly in your resume.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115,200 - $231,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Base pay is one component of total compensation and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by location. Employees have day-one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid parental leave; short- and long-term disability coverage; life insurance; wellbeing benefits; and 10 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days, and 17 days of paid personal time (pro-rated on hire).
