Job Overview :

The Accounts Payable Team Lead is responsible for the training of new and existing members of the AP team. They will be subject matter experts on AP functions including policies and PeopleSoft. Perform PeopleSoft system testing to support changes in operations. Act as a first point of contact for team members with questions.

They will coordination of vendor payments in accordance with policy and procedures. They will perform research, problem solve, take action and escalate to ensure the payment is made to the vendor within the appropriate timeframe. Interface with vendors and end-users explain and educate on policy compliance when necessary.

Independently balance workload and adhere to timelines, deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. Provide team coverage along with handling special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications : Required :

• Five years accounts payable or finance experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, possess good communication (written and verbal) skills.
