JOB SUMMARY :

As a Medical Assistant / X-Ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in patient care by welcoming patients, assisting with their needs, and providing support to our medical team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

The following duties highlight the expectations of this position but are not exhaustive. Other responsibilities may be allocated as needed :

• Warmly greet patients upon arrival, keeping them informed on wait times and guiding them through the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns and promptly seek assistance during emergencies or hazardous situations.
• Timely follow up on lab and x-ray results, ensuring effective communication.
• Collaborate with front desk staff to facilitate patient check-in and checkout when necessary.
• Record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant information accurately.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to safety and care protocols.
• Maintain equipment functionality by reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Complete necessary documentation related to patient visits and maintain examination room cleanliness.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and protect patient confidentiality.
• Perform medical procedures and laboratory tasks as directed by a provider.
