Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a ME or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shifts with varying schedule
  • Patient population includes emergency and acute care cases
  • Role involves working as part of the nursing team in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care
  • Must communicate effectively with all healthcare team members in developing care plans
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified for this role
  • Local candidates are accepted due to no radius rule in place

  • Active RN license in ME or compact state
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency nursing preferred
  • Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills required
  • Ability to function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations
