Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is needed to support young students in an early childhood educational setting. This role focuses on providing nursing care to 4-year-old students in a Pre-K classroom, ensuring their health and safety during the school day.

Location :

Winder, GA

Responsibilities :

• Provide nursing care and health support to Pre-K students in an early childhood school environment
• Assist students with individualized health needs, including tracheostomy care; must be fortable or experienced with trach care
• Safely transport students to and from their homes via bus, ensuring proper supervision and safety protocols
• Collaborate with school staff and families to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment

Qualifications :

• Current and valid LPN / LVN licensure
• Experience working in school or early childhood nursing preferred
• Trach care training or demonstrable experience is required
• Ability to safely transport and supervise young children during bus rides
• Strong munication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and educators

Duration :

• Contract position for the school year (NSY)
