Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Primary Purpose: Answer telephone, direct calls to appropriate department and provide general information regarding track events.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and route incoming calls and greet all visitors.
• Provide information on events. If more detailed information is needed, route the call to the appropriate department.
• Prepare all outgoing mail as well as distribute incoming mail to appropriate mailboxes.
• Responsible for maintaining conference room schedule.
• Accepts employment applications from walk-in applicants.
• Assists Human Resources by conducting a general pre-screening of applicants.
• Send, receive and route all faxes.
• Receive all income deliveries and notify appropriate department of the arrival of deliveries. Arrange for outside courier as needed.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking kitchen and conference room supplies.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, etc. as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Certification/Education: High school diplomas or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience: 1 year prior receptionist/clerical experience preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent telephone skills.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience a plus.
• Good people and communication skills.
