Job Overview

This position is responsible for delivering competitive insights to T-Mobile Marketing and other internal business owners by monitoring, analyzing, and synthesizing the marketing strategies and go-to-market tactics of key competitors. This role will support one or more of the following lines of business : Broadband, Postpaid Business, Postpaid Consumer, Prepaid. Assists Senior Manager and Director with communicating competitive insights and influencing business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitors, collects, and analyzes competitors' pricing, promotions, products and other marketing actions through surveillance of competitor's websites, advertising, customer communications and other publicly available sources of information.
• Monitors and analyzes customer preferences, market trends and other macro factors that could impact the competitive environment.
• Analyzes and synthesizes available primary and secondary research to understand trends in the competitive landscape.
• Assists with ad-hoc and periodic competitive assessments requested by marketing and other internal stakeholders.
• Effectively communicates conclusions and recommendations in a format suitable for senior management that meet requirements for technical rigor, conciseness and actionability.
• Builds effective working relationships and works collaboratively with key internal teams.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and / or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and / or team performance.
