Beer Capitol Distributing LLC, Wisconsin's largest beer distributor, serving Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington and Milwaukee counties is now hiring for Merchandiser . This position is responsible for rotating, stocking, and merchandising product delivered into customer accounts. This is a full-time entry-level position with the potential to move up within the company.

Compensation :

  • $20.00 per hour based on experience

    • Schedule :

  • 40 hours per week with 2 days off. Mandatory 8-hour shifts on Saturday!
  • Some overtime may be required. Working weekends and holidays might be required.
  • Company vehicle is provided OR mileage reimbursement if driving personal vehicle

    • Responsibilities

  • Maintaining fresh product at retail by rotating, reorganizing and refilling shelves and coolers
  • Move an average of 500 cases of product per day weighing an average of 30-40 lbs. each
  • Inventory and reorganize back stocks, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
  • Build displays that meet supplier and company guidelines; assist with resets when needed
  • Communicate with and take direction from account personnel, management, sales representatives, and delivery personnel on a regular basis

    • Skills and Abilities

  • Valid drivers license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation required for all Merchandisers
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills : friendly, personable, and approachable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to consistently lift, carry, push and pull up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 45 pounds on a consistent basis
  • Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending twisting, squatting, lifting
