The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking qualified candidates for Coordinator positions within the Disability Resource Center (DRC), a unit of the Division of Student Services. The Coordinator plays a key role in supporting students with disabilities by conducting intake interviews and facilitating appropriate accommodations. This includes working with students who have learning, cognitive, physical, visual, hearing, and psychological disabilities. Under the supervision of the Director, the Coordinator ensures that the university remains in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended (ADAAA).
Primary Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master's degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
Related Experience : Experience working with persons with disabilities and implementing Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the ADAA or related experience.
