Responsibilities Work in a post-acute care environment with a mix of 50% inpatient acute care and 50% outpatient therapy Serve a diverse caseload including peds through geriatrics, with orthopedic, neuro, fall risk, and general weakness cases Coverage may include inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings, with the expectation to cover at least two areas Option to work with pediatric or adult outpatient population Typical patient load is 6-10 patients per day, depending on area covered Monday through Friday schedule, typically 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm, no weekends or holidays required EPIC used for EMR, Cerner Community Works for inpatient and outpatient charting, and Kinnser for home health charting Duties include assessment, treatment, and care planning for a broad range of patients from peds to geriatrics OTs are expected to collaborate with COTAs for treatments as available Black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual attire required Structured orientation provided, including observed procedures and graduated caseload in the first week Negative drug screen required for all candidates COVID-19 vaccine is not required Local candidates are accepted; local rate applies for those living within 50 miles Requirements Current active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience as an OT necessary Current BLS certification required Diverse clinical background and ability to work in inpatient, outpatient, and / or home care settings is required Lymphedema certification preferred but not required Applicants must be able to provide documentation of active state licensure at time of consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627429.
