Job description

Navy Logistics Analyst

Noblis MSD is seeking a Navy Logistics Analyst to support our Navy customers and engineering support being done out of the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. The Logistics Analyst shall support :

  • Engineering, logistic, and programmatic tasking for all new modifications including technical data packages
  • EC / OCMOD / TRID packages (updated final Tech Manuals, Maintenance Standards, APLs and Drawings), TEMPALT development including the technical data package, ECRs through stage II and draft ECR Stage III, Installation procedures, fixtures and tooling required for integration onto the ship.
  • Ship scans, and pre-installation checks in order to efficiently install all TCB modifications to equipment, assist in coordinating installations of upgrades.
  • Evaluations to improve RMA, review FRACAS, develop and evaluate engineering changes, develop training stations, fixtures, and curriculum and equipment for I-level training with respect to all system improvements.
  • Review and update the Class Maintenance Plan, maintenance procedures, drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Overall program support including but not limited to meeting minutes, power point presentations, action item tracking, documentation processing and filing, time tracking, correspondence, reports / forms preparation, development of POA&M schedules, and tracking of procurements, expenditures and deliverables.
  • Design work to implement findings and improvements found during TEMPALT installations.
  • Provide Life Cycle Logistics and ILS support for all Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Systems and Equipment installed across the US Navy.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree & 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree & 6 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma and 9 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be familiar with navy submarine logistics.
  • Experience in identifying material and logistic requirements for ship alteration and repair.
  • Experience with the Navy Supply and procurement systems and procedures for requisitioning.
  • Minimum of (1) year experience in NSNs and material procurement.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Prior experience working in Navy Data Environment (NDE), iPDM, iNAVSEA, Inteldocs, OARS, TMIS, NSDSA, IHS, FedMall, NSEDR, OTS (One Touch Support), PDREP, NTIRA, WEBFLIS, Remedy, iCAPS, CDMD-OA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
