Job purpose
The Maintenance Tech Level-II is responsible for conducting assigned PMs and servicing all equipment calls on the production floor. This includes repairs on the spot and / or repairs that require a WO. This position is responsible for being in compliance with all employee safely, food safety, facility audits, and GMP requirements at all times.
Duties and responsibilities
- Performs regular maintenance service / duties (PMs) as scheduled by the Maintenance Manager
- Maintains manufacturing assets and facility as assigned (lube, monitoring, filter checks)
- Supports training and continuous development for personnel
- Report outs during shift and end of day, on maintenance work accomplished
- Follows all food safety guidelines and protocols while servicing equipment
- Model the Company's Safety Culture and always strive for 100% Safety compliance
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule : other shifts, weekends, holidays as required
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Maintenance tech position and activitiesMust be able to read English and follow equipment manual instructionsMust possess knowledge of a specific skill set : HVAC, Electrical, Machining, welding, etc.Must be able to perform diagnostics on controls & settings, measuring tools, internal & external machine diagnostics, perform replacement of components (pumps, bearings, controls, valves, etc.), able to order spare parts as neededPrior experience in the Food Industry, a plusOSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach Training, preferred (not required)Experience
